Research and Education Center
International Research and Education Center for Mechanical Systems Innovation
The purpose of the international research and education center will be to promote the advancement of and maintain collaboration among the proposed projects, and to support the training of highly talented leaders in future technologies. The center will occupy research space on and around the university's Hongo campus, and will be staffed by administrative personnel and appointed faculty members in addition to the program members. The program will sponsor the exchange of researchers with research institutes abroad.
Nano/Micro Measurement and Manufacturing Center
Some shared equipment for nano/micromeasurement and manufacturing has been installed. These systems intensively used by many researchers involved in this global COE program and act as a powerful impetus for the development of research activities.
Overseas Base
This program aims to promote research activities and cultivate young researchers in cooperation with overseas universities. The main objective of this exchange program is to expose Ph.D. students to other working environments, thus for initiating and maintaining research collaborations between researchers in the two universities.
