About the secondary advisor system

Global COE for Mechanical Systems Innovation Secretariat

One of the aims of this GCOE program is to help PhD students develop breadth as well as depth. With this in mind, we have implemented a "secondary advisor system", which gives GMSI RAs the opportunity to obtain guidance and direction from a related faculty member in addition to their current advisor.

This system is intended for graduate students in the first and second years of the PhD program (the students in the third years of the PhD program are also welcome). Please confirm the details by implementation guidance 'Secondary advisor system-Guideline'.

【About the secondary advisor 】
There are many faculty who are participating in this secondary advisor system, including the 24 GMSI program members and 24 associated faculty members. This announcement is not only for informational purposes, but also with the hope that GMSI RAs will take full advantage of this opportunity.
Please confirm the details by 'Secondary advisor system-Teachers'.

【How to apply】
RAs should indicate their top three choices for secondary advisor in the linked Excel file "Secondary advisor system-Participation form" , and submit this to the GMSI office as an attached file.
