Objective: This graduate course is offered from the GCOE for Mechanical Systems Innovation. The GCOE program is for PhD students, however this course is offered for not only PhD students, but Master’s students as well. GCOE’s research areas are (1) Extended Nanospace, (2) Nano/Micro Fundamental Technologies Innovation, and (3) Synthesis Innovation, but this course will focus on one aspect of synthesis innovation: Medical and Welfare Innovation.

Lecture Topics:

Lecture topics will include fundamental theory, construction method, application, etc. of the following areas:
Non-invasive Ultrasound Diagnosis and Treatment System
Biocompatible Artificial Joint Replacement System
Gene Manipulation Therapy
