Title: Development of Multifunctional Nanocomposite Coatings
using Pulsed Close-Field Unbalanced Magnetron Sputtering

Abstract:

Pulsed Close-field Unbalanced Magetron Sputtering and Modulated Pulse Power Plating technologies have revolutionized thin film deposition. In the present study, nanocomposite binary (TiC-a:C), quaternary (Ti–B–C–N, Cr-Al-B-N) and quinternary (Ti–Si–B–C–N) multicomponent coatings were deposited using pulsed closed unbalanced magnetron sputtering (PCFUBMS) from both elemental and composite targets.

Schedule: 19th October 2009 16:30~18:00

Place: 15th meeting room, Engineering 1st Bld, Hongo Campus
