    Extended Nanospace Laboratory "Multiscale Calculation" (3722-125, Summer Term, 2 cr.)
    MEMS and Simulation exercise for extended nanospace at Takeda Sentanchi Cleanroom. This is for Doctoral course student. Master student can attend the lecture, but cannot be approved the credit.

    研究インターンシップ説明会　「工学コンピテンシーⅡ (3799-147)(2単位)」
    概要：企業からの課題を解決するインターンシップ．修士は2ヶ月以上，博士は3ヶ月以上の実習期間を基本とする．具体的な実施時期，期間，課題については個別に相談の上決定する．

    Outline: Internship to solve research themes proposed by companies. Basic internship duration of master’s course student is more than 2 months, more than 3 months for doctoral course student. The detail of period, duration and internship theme will be fixed after individual counseling.

    UT^2-Workshop 2016 Univ. of Tokyo and Univ. of Toronto Graduate Students Workshop　- Call for participation -

    The seventh UT2 workshop will be held on June 22-24, 2016, at Univ. of Tokyo. Doctoral course students in GMSI, COSM, Dept. of Materials Engineering and Dept. of Mechanical Engineering are all welcome and encouraged to participate in the workshop. Those who like to present your research at the workshop must submit a 200 word abstract to; abe(at)material.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp, by April 15th.

    English-only camp where Japanese and international participants discuss and exchange ideas on various research topics.　The Camp aims to widen the research perspective of the participants and facilitate international communication by developing international networks among young researchers.
    サマーキャンプは東大の学生と世界のトップ大学から招聘した博士学生とが英語にて議論を行う場です．研究者同士が国際的ネットワークを築き、視野とグローバルなコミュニケーション力の発展を目的としています。

      　-博士専用, 12回のうち6回以上の出席+1テーマのレポート
      　※なお「先端技術特別講義Ⅰ(3799-021, 夏学期, 2単位)」は修士・博士対象で12回の出席と2テーマのレポート提出が必要とされる.
      　「工学リテラシーⅠ」と「先端技術特別講義Ⅰ」の重複履修は不可です.

    GMSIでは、基礎素養・専門知識に加え、リテラシー、コンピテンシーを涵養し、当該分野において産業界・学術界を先導することのできる国際競争力のある逞しくタフな若者を養成することを目標とします. コミュニケーション能力、情報・倫理などの力を涵養する「工学リテラシーⅠ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ」、および、リーダーシップ、課題設定・解決・遂行力、責任・使命感などの力を涵養する「工学コンピテンシーⅠ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ」をコア科目とし、その他にもフロンティア領域の講義・演習、各種セミナーなどを行います. 特定の専攻群に限らず広く工学系全体から学生を募集し、専攻横断型の大学院教育プログラムとして実施し、修了者には認定書を授与します. 修士・博士学生の登録が可能です．

    Call for Participation in GMSI Program
    GMSI aims to develop creative human resources to be future global leaders by cultivating literacy and competency in addition to fundamental attainment and specialized knowledge. The core courses Engineering Literacy I, II, and III will cultivate skills in communication, information and ethics, and Engineering Competency I, II, and III will cultivate proficiency in leadership, problem setting /resolution/execution, responsibility, sense of duty, etc. We seek students from all engineering fields, not limited just to one specific field of study, to participate in this newly implemented inter-departmental graduate program. Those who meet the program requirements will be awarded a certificate of completion.Master and doctoral course students can register this program.
    Please send the Application Form to GMSI Program Office (office(at)gmsi.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp) by April.25, 2016 Monday. Master and doctoral course students can register this program.
