題目:The Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering: Research and Educational Efforts
内容の概要説明:
The Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering (CSNE) is one of 17 National Science Foundation Engineering Research Centers. It is a multi-institution program aimed at developing technologies that are inspired by, interact with, and assist neural systems. This talk will review the activities of the CSNE, with a particular goal of summarizing emerging technologies at the interface of neuroscience and robotics. Two research testbeds will be discussed including (1) the use of game technology for assessment and therapy of patients with Cerebral Palsy and (2) the use of brain-computer interfaces in control of external robotic systems. Additional aspects of the CSNE will be reviewed along with an open invitation to join our efforts.
