The Global Center of Excellence for Mechanical Systems Innovation (GMSI) at The University of Tokyo (UT) will hold a Summer Camp in July. By gathering together PhD students from various countries studying mechanical engineering and related fields, this Camp aims to widen the research perspective of the participants and facilitate international communication by developing international networks among young researchers.

Dates: Monday, July 23 to Friday, July 27, 2012
Place: Laforet Shuzenji Resort, Izu Peninsula, Japan

*Application for participation to the summer camp:
Rename the attached file to surname_firstname.xls for Application Form and surname_firstname.pdf for Abstract Template. Submit the application form (excel file) together with your abstract file (pdf file) to the GMSI office via Email (2012summercamp(at)mechasys.jp) by May 25, 2012.
(Register the summer camp (Engineering Competency Ⅲ(No.3722-128）))　by UT-Mate, and be sure to submit both documents.)

* Note that GMSI will select participants from the applicants satisfying the qualifications considering balance among research fields, countries, etc.
