Extended Nano Space
The transitional area in which phenomena in the nanospace are extended to the microspace is called the “extended nanospace.” The program aims to create innovative machines that utilize and control the unconventional effects that emerge from phenomena at the nanoscale. To enable this, the program incorporates the following items: (a) analysis of phenomena and formulation of mathematical models of the extended nanoscale, (b) multiscale simulation, and (c) the promotion of process innovation using phenomena in the extended nanospace.
